PG-400 is a grey cementitious polymer-modified tile adhesive for interior and exterior installation of ceramic, vitrified, natural stones, pavers, and bricks.

- It needs no curing or soaking of the tiles
- The surface should be sound and clean, free from dust, grease, oil, loose material, or paint
- The movement joints are to be filled with a suitable joint filler
- The surface must be in SSD condition before application
- Mix a 20-kg bag of PG-400 and W-400 in approximately 6 to 6.5 liters of clean water and mix thoroughly until a slump-free mortar is achieved
- Mix with a trowel or slow-speed drills for a homogeneous mix
- Allow it to slake for 5 minutes
- Mix the required quantity, which can be used within the desired pot life, not exceeding 1 m2
- Spread the adhesive uniformly on the surface as required with a proper notch trowel to get the required depth of 6–12 mm
- Place the tile on the adhesive surface and press firmly into position with a slight twisting action
- Ensure that good contact is maintained with the back of each tile, eliminating the possibility of any air voids
- Tiles should be applied within 15 to 20 minutes of the adhesive being applied
- Keep adequate joints between two tiles using spacers
- Clean off surplus adhesive from the tile face and between joints
- Always add powder to water, and never add water to powder
- Never add more water than is recommended
- The surface should be hard and in sound condition for floor tiling
- Do not use it in damp conditions
- It is not recommended for tiling on paint, wood, metal or gypsum
30-35 sq. ft. for a 20kg bag at 6mm thickness may vary upon notch trowel size at site condition.
Shelf life is one year from the manufacturing date. Store the material in a cool, dry place away from moisture.
